In the north and south the community structure and social systems are different. In the north people were treated equally. There was public education and their religion was mostly puritans. Most settlers were English and they had religion freedom. In the south they placed people as how much money they had. The groups were called cottonocracy, plain folks, poor whites and slaves. The poor whites and slaves worked for the plain folks and the cottonocracy. They kids would have private tutors and most the settlers were English. They had all different religions in the south. They also gave Britain a new trade market.
